Hi there,

I am currently using EPSON STYLUS PRO 9000 for sublimation printing. All of a sudden it started giving Ink System Error 1412. Please refer to the image and suggest if you have any solution.

Thanks,

B. Regards,

Hi, I do not specialize in EPSON Printer service, but let me google it for you :) here is what google says on a first search attempt:
http://www.printcopy.info/?l=en&mod=erc&brand=Epson&model=Stylus Pro 9890&code=1412

Basically your pump is rated to produce an X amount of pumps and Engine Control Board counts them, once limit is reached - you get this error code. Manufacturer says you should replace it and probably you should listen, if you know how to get in to service mode, you may reset the count to get by and be able to produce orders till new pump arrives and installation arrangements are being made.
If you don't know how to get in to service mode - let me know, I will try to look up my service manuals, I'd out that I have one for your model but have a few manuals, may be Epson carried "Service entrance combination" over from model to model. Disclaimer: if you mess anything up besides resetting pump count, I am not responsible, :)

  • That was really helpful thanks. Kindly guide me further to get into service mode and reset pump count.
