epson p8000 44" nozzle check

    I have cleaned the head several times and I still get this. Has this happened to anyone?

    Hi Lisa,
    the next step you can try is to execute "Power cleaning" from the EpsonĀ“s menu. Usually it should be solved then. After three unsuccessful power cleans better call your local Epson dealer for service.

    Another option to try (if you haven't already spoke to Epson) is make a small box in the software you use and look up the color code for Cyan for your printer online. Put that code in the software color picker and print it a few times. This should have the printer attempt to use that specific color to try pushing the ink through the clogged nozzles alone. If that doesn't work, it's most likely a major clog problem that Epson would have to fix or hopefully not need to replace the head itself. Unfortunately, out of warranty will be pretty costly for this process.
