I am having problems with this compressor, DURR-TECHNIK, K15, runs all the time. This press is 15 years old and I have had many air leaks and repaired them in last couple years. This time is different, have all cabinets of except for gear side and cannot find any obvious leaks. I have been having issues with wild swings in water settings and wonder if this could be related?
Compressor drainage tube is working, or it was last week. now it will not build pressure at all.
    Any suggestions will help
    Thank You

Yes it's plausible if the air pressure is not sufficient almost everything will be problematic.is the solenoid on the air compressor clean. Make sure it's not stuck

Thanks Jack, I pulled the compressor out. I removed the air plug on the end of the tank and drained about a qt of water out, that told me at least one of the selonoids was not working. I assumed both were not working and and removed all parts from the air stem and cleaned everything as best I could. after reassembling everything and testing everything started working fine. I did detect a small air leak in the pressure gauge so I temporarily plugged the hole and restarted and the pump now runs over 5 minutes before kicking in. It has never run more than 2 min 40 seconds before starting. Im thinking its fixed.
    Thanks for your input.

Don't you use water catcher in the system? I suggest to use one at mains and time controlled valves at the tanks.

Thank you for the info. This compressor feeds to a water seperator before entering the press. Its mounted inside panel beside the feeder. Built in but can be removed. I usually drain it whenever I'm finished for the day before cutting power. The compressor also has a selonoid drain on the air stem that auto drains occasionally.
    Thanks again
