Duplo system 5000 trimer jamming

running 17 bins of a thicker book. The book gets stuck in trimmer seems every 10 or so. . Went into accessories at main screen then to trimmer to set the belt speed (5) and gap of rollers @7. No luck. Any thoughts?

 

Could be down to a few things, you possibly need to adjust the front infeed rollers - belts on the trimmer, if you look in the manual it shows you how to put a spring loaded bar in-between the top belts and like this you can raise them up - pre gap them with the adjustable peg on the blade. Like this it feeds in with out slowing and your problem will be solved.

 

Isint this done at main screen like what I did? Adjusting the gap? Nothing in manual

 

Page 12 in the manual infeed wheels, the 2 springs going up want to be removed from the bit above the blade and clicked into the tops of the rollers to reduce infeed pressure on thick books, you can also adjust the little leavers. The screw on the middle piece adjust - lifts the infeed rollers up and that will help having them some what pre gapped when running thicker booklets.
