Duplo 5000 with Duplo 2000 10/60 tower

My Duplo 5000 system was running with a DSF-2000 system and I decided to upgrade with a with Duplo 2000 10/60 tower. Now am getting 'DATA IS NOT FOUND' ERROR on the screen.

My question is, can DBM500 work with a 2000 tower?
Do I need new software to run the machine?
