Hi All ....wondering if there is anyone who repairs these driver amps ?
They are the drivers for dampners .... Having trouble on startup / overloading until they sort themselves out ..... needing to restart press multiple times ....

i have the same story with NikkiDenso Servo AC drives, but i may advise you to put a simple key on the power line which goes to drives and instead of power on/off the whole of press machine,
in order to eliminate the error,
just cut the voltage line for these bloody drives and switch on again after a short delay,
not the whole of machine . you feel free to accept or reject.

Based on my previous experience, there are some aged-capacitors inside which they need to change with new caps and with same specs as well. you need to meet an expert guy.

We replaced several of these on a 2000 L 640, and a couple on a GL 540. On the older model 640 after replacing a couple and the electrician not being able to actually confirm an electrical problem. We looked at the cups holding the Form rollers. They had some wear and a bit of slop/play when engaging them. We have some ordered to see how it performs. In the meantime, the meters were a bit aged and the durometer reading a fair amount harder than specs. We changed the meters out and those two units have not tripped off since.

We did not change the address of the drives. We changed the meter roller which was a bit aged and getting hard. It stopped overloading with the new meter rollers installed. With no real sign of the amp being faulty we looked for a mechanical, physical reason. The cups on the meter rollers were wore substantially. So, there was some play in the roller contact to the chrome when engaged. We eliminated some of the play in the contact. The idea being an uneven pressure was slowing or speeding up the rotation causing the overload. This helped but did not eliminate the problem. We installed new softer meters and have not seen a problem since. Did you first try swapping the drives from one unit to another to see if the problem followed the drive?

    Hello James
yes I swapped drives and with this exchanging the position of AC servo drives. also the error moved somewhere else. I mean the problem was from the drive, i myself spoke with NikkiDenso company in Japan, he said on phone these series of drive are specially for KOMORI and we don't help or support you, not at all.

I just want to know HOW i can modify some settings in. I am absolutely sure on J2 USB connection a PC or laptop can connect under a firmware or software. I am looking for this name of software or an App.

Happy to hearing more from you.
    Appreciate.
    GoodLuck
    Andy

Yes, these are a Komori proprietary part and can only be purchased through Komori. Some of them are pretty expensive or as in our case the drive on our 540 press is no longer manufactured. We will have to change our drive motor and get a completely different drive amp. As far as changing the parameters of a drive to match the drive you need. This sounds possible, yet I have no idea who could attempt this. Good luck and good day.
