Hello! I work at a college and we have quite a few Epson large format printers. Currently we have a P8000 that probably gets the most use with the students. We've been running into an issue though where (even though we have a matte printer) students still switch the ink from photo black to matte black too frequently and it's become an issue.

I'm not sure if this is a possibility but I was wondering if there was a way to either disable the black ink switch on this printer OR possibly a trick to removing an ink cartridge/disabling one on an epson printer but still allowing it to print? My next course of action was to possibly put a near empty matte ink cartridge into the printer so that the ink switch simply isn't a viable option to them. But I was kind of hoping there was a better solution I didn't know about. Thank you!
