Direct Imaging Printing

I want to set up a Direct Imaging Printing business and will want to guided on the right printer and other accesories, I aim to print Posters(A1 and other sizes),books,fliers,calendars,diaries,etc. A friend suggested Konica minolta DI printers,please what is the best model for what I aim to go into. Thanks.

 

Are your runs all over 1000?
I don't think KM makes a DI press...!? The forum you posted in is for DI Presses where the plate is imaged on the press but it's a real press. Much faster than a copier and real ink on paper. Requires more skill to maintain and has the plate cost so you need a minimum run length.
