    Hi sir
please check and tight very well the connectors, can be loose or dirty clean.
    2) test the fuses for boards · 6+ 7
    3) reseating boards and components, edge connectors are a common source of problems. examine and clean it
    4) measure 12 VOLTIOS Register motor in boardv #8 LED must be ON normally.

Sorry for my delay and my error about his Cpc, I did for CPC1 the number of board
However, the troubleshooting that indicates is o.k.
You must test the board:Card DNK: the power supply unit 1 +24Vdc in the same board this for Keys and lamps
    2) power supply unit +5vDC THIS IS for ON-board electronic for supply the electronic al display control card DSK
    3) Power supply unit 3+4 x26: pin 1 +5V X26 pin 2 : -205Vdc X26 Pin 3 ;-200V
    4) in the Board DNK test the X21 very well , clean it and see for loose wires+x24 connector.
    5) see and clean very well the 16 poles flat ribbon cables in the same board DNK.
    Let me know.

For clarity, did they both go out at the same time?

Very well, important to include pertinent information on a question such as this. It's likely your servo motor potentiometer has failed, not feeding back information to diagnostics. This is, I'm sure, the motor with the built in potentiometer. Exchange motors and I'm sure you'll be back up and running.

    Dear Sir:
I saw you have a lot of trouble, but relax.
    1) Please try to replace 3 digit display board, the 7 segment display can be defective.
1a) Try to test the voltage a lamp, a replace lamp or button, make continuity test with a DMM.
    2) check the connecting cables againts the interconnection cables.
3)replace the P.C.B or control board too.

    Hi,
Inside the cpc i have a MAR4 with:
    2 MOT cards
    2 MWE cards
    1 TSK card

i removed all the 5 cards from MAR4, switched on the pcp, with my surprise nothing append, still having the same display.

still nothing even if i remove the cable from MAR4 to BEK.

    I'am realy confused.
how cpc detects ink and register motors???????

Please follow this steps, do NOT confuse.
I do not know if you are following the "common sense" bases in the Logic Steps .
    1) Please try to replace 3 digit display board, the 7 segment display can be defective.
1a) Try to test the voltage a lamp, a replace lamp or button, make continuity test with a DMM.
    2) check the connecting cables againts the interconnection cables.
