diagonal motor in heating unit

Hello,

So we have a machine with the following configuration, CD 102 6+LYYLX the 8th unit which is an intermediate heater has a diagonal registration motor at the transfer cylinder whereas in the 9th unit there is no such diagonal registration motor, my question is why there is a need for registration motor in a heating unit?

You have no need for diagonal register in a heating you unit. Your 8th unit or "Y" unit is actually a converted coating unit which will have a diagonal register motor on it.
