Dark prints with correct CMYK patches

I am having issues either with our plate imaging, RIP settings or press .. Not sure where to start troubleshooting.

I am reading with a calibrated densitometer patch readings that are in tolerance.. but the overall print is way too dark.

Any advice appreciated.
 
    • We solved the problem . We had an incorrect dot gain. we calibrated the RIP with a second hand techkon DMS 910 and all looking good. Thanks
