I have an SM74-4 machine with a Technotrans(FKT-C 10000 -G-H-. The dampening and intermediate tank pumps keeps cutting off after a few minutes of pumping resulting in the scumming of papers during printing. What could be the cause of the pumps cutting off during printing?

perhaps if you tell us what it is you do to get the pumps working again we can help you figure out a solution.

switch off the technotrans switch and turning it back on after a few minutes, the pumps start pumping again.

Incoming water pressure maybe too low?

We have a CD74 with the same problem. It may be due to the floater in the secondary tank sending a faulty signal back to the control panel. The floater in our tank is on an eccentric shaft, by turning the floater so it is in its lowest position, it would return the solution back to the main tank before the level in the tank set off the cut off switch.Since I did this it hasn't done again. Good luck.
