Curious - Your Thoughts on Digital Printing on Color boxs

Hi everyone!

I’ve been looking into digital printing lately and came across a Chinese manufacturer that’s now producing digital printers specifically for color boxes and custom packaging. It looks like a great fit for short runs, multiple SKUs, and on-demand jobs.

I’m really curious —
Is this kind of print-and-cut setup being used much in your market?
Is there growing demand for this tech in small-batch or custom packaging?

Would love to hear your thoughts or any firsthand experiences. Appreciate any insight!

Would you like to share the print machines you've found?
I can't really say how popular or in demand this is, or will be really. Packaging in general is seeing a lot of growth, but i cant say that applies much to short run workflows. If the devices are affordable perhaps smaller print shops and promotional product printers may see a use for them.
