    Hi

Coated paper board are printed first then primer coat of 3 gsm and UV cured then kept it for 3 hours for air dry and then it goes creasing at the dye cutter.

White cracks are observed on creasing fold of the carton.

What may be the reason and how to avoid it?

    Hi
There many reasons for your problem.
    1) incorrect combination (ink/substrate)
    2) uv drying problem
    Pls confirm
    1) is it new system
    2) or this is running system and problem come in particular job/substrate
    3) it's Interminent problem
    4) problem comes after changing the ink
Based on you reply solution will be there

    Thanks Ashok for your reply.

This is existing system and doing in the same substrate. But this time only it is observed this cracking and ink coming off. magnified images of those white crack areas shows fibers and shiny coating layer. please refer the image in the attachment. Image no. 1 & 2 from those cracking area and image No.3 back side of the ink which comes off from the substrate. Please let me know.
