CPUC issue

I'm getting a couple of deletions in the process direction. We've isolated it to the CPUC. When 'on' the deletions are there but when turned off they go away but with the obvious uniformity problem across the sheet.

We've cleaned the lamp a dozen times. Yesterday after one of the cleans it got rid of the deletions but came back.

Anyone had an issue like this and found a remedy?

Turns out it was the damn TAB blade! Which really doesn't explain as to why the lines disappeared when the lamp was disabled.

  • sorry hadnt logged on before!.

for me that always been either tab or the vacuum pre fuser transport(with flimsy gloss stock)

Probably the STAB was affecting the calibration strips that the CPUC reads on Cycle up and it calibrated for it :)
