    Delivery - Computer monitoring fault
This means the communicatio has been disturbed and ARCNET detected error during initilization, Check the ABB module at Delivery if it shows any error (Class 4 - means CS31 communication from PLC to a specific Node is broken),
    There are possibilites
    Bad connection/Loose connection
    Broken Wire
    Faulty Module

Dear Mr. Majd and Forum Members,

    Good day.

We are experiencing the same issue across our 74 machine: the delivery keypad is not functioning, and the error light on the EAE field bus keypad controller (MCFKC35) is flashing.

We have already checked the power supply, control connections from delivery PLC , node address, and DIP switch settings, and everything appears to be in order.

If you have resolved this issue, we would greatly appreciate it if you could share your troubleshooting steps and solutions.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Go through this, its very usefull for EAE MCKFC module:
The MCFKC 35 is intended as an independent external expansion unit for connection to the MCGR 3-2 modular controller system. The connection to a modular controller unit (basic device) is made via an EAE fieldbus 2 interface. The status of the keys is reported to the MCGR 35 basic computer via this interface. In return, the basic computer can transfer the specifications for controlling the indicator lights to the MCFKC 35. The MCFKC 35 is designed so that 6 keyboard units can be connected. The following configurations of the keyboard unit are provided: 4 keyboard units with a maximum of 8 keys and 8 indicator lights, connected via 20-pin flat cable connectors and 2 keyboard units with a maximum of 6 keys and 6 indicator lights, connected via 16-pin flat cable connectors. An external 24V DC voltage source is required to supply the MCFKC 35 and the connected keyboard units. upload_2025-2-28_11-52-13.png

EAE fieldbus 2 interface - The MCFKC 35 expansion unit is connected to the basic device via the EAE fieldbus 2 serial interface. The EAE fieldbus 2 is designed as a token bus by an Arcnet controller, the signal lines of which are designed to be electrically isolated and are driven by an RS485 interface driver. The connection for the EAE fieldbus 2 is made via the two 8-pin modular jacks X11 and X12. The incoming bus cable must be plugged into the fieldbus connection X11.
The outgoing bus cable (bus cable to the next

    Dear Koenig & Fourn Team,

Thank you for your continued support, and I apologize for the delayed response.

As per your guidance, we have carefully followed the troubleshooting instructions, including connecting and disconnecting the keypads as well as the Fieldbus RJ45 cable. However, the results remain the same.
    • LD1 flashes at approximately 1 Hz.
    • LD2 flashes twice per second, pauses for one second, then repeats the cycle.

Does this indicate that the MCFKC 35 is faulty?

We would greatly appreciate your expert guidance on this matter.

    Best regards,
    Bandaru
