I want to over-ride the 'cover open' warning which interrupts the printing when I check what the continuous ink system tubes are doing [sometimes they jam] in the above printer...any ideas please?
Check the cover plate and identify which part of it operates the "cover open" microswitch. With our HP office printer, I sawed to end off a cover plate taken from a scrap printer and gaffer-taped it in position where the tang would operate the microswitch. Then the printer thought the cover plate was closed.
