Connect EFI rip to NexPress

Has anyone out there connected their EFI rip directly to a NexPress. We are rookies at best, when it comes to connecting up custom printers. We want to create a PS or PDF file, send that file to the EFI server, use the EFI server as a rip/print server, then send the file directly from EFI server to our NexPress which is in another city.

Is there any documentation on doing something like this, or any step by step directions on how to accomplish this.
