Color printer

I am a printing broker. Prior to sending files (mainly Indesign or Quark files) to the factories I contract with for production, I print color proofs in my office. These proofs serve an important internal function, allowing me to proof read, check page size etc. and are not contract proofs for signoff. Color accuracy is not the intended use, but looking for as much as I can get for the price.

I have to replace my printer, an HP Designjet 10ps.
Any suggestions for an inkjet,laser or some other kind of printer that could be used for the purpose described. Postscript printer, prints up to 13 x 19 sheet size. MAC OS 10.5.6
Dont want to spend anymore than 2000.00

Would truly appreciate any suggestions.
