    Hi,

Let me just start by saying that I'm completely unfamilar with this marketplace and the printing technologies so I'm not even sure which forum to post this in.

What I need to do is to take an existing roll of white direct thermal labels, and pre-print them with full colour (eg. borders, logos etc), then re-roll them. They will then be fed through a direct thermal printer as normal at a later date.

This would be fairly short runs (maybe around 20-50 rolls, with 300 labels per roll).

Is there a printer that can do all this? without costing a stupid amount of money?

Obviously the pre-printing process would need to not damage the thermal labels, and the colour print would need to survive the direct thermal printing process.
