Longshot here, i know this is not the most traveled forum these days...but worth a shot.

I have an elderly IGEN 4, and I get this error constantly. Nothing seems to fix it forever. Change the belt, its good for a few days. it comes back. Do cleaning things, etacs, mob fixes it. but it returns.

It passes all color calibration and registration routines but when I go to print. bam! ERROR!

Milo if you read this, just branching out, tried all the stuff we talked about and some more things too, doesnt seem to matter, feel bad continually asking you.

  • hey @Milo Wilson still havin troubles with this. 06-3230 and 3271 cleanbelt calibration. None of the stuff we discussed works anymore lol Seems to happen most when in a mad rush.

just thought id put the particulars down here, so I can compile them and have a look later maybe I figure it out.

If you think of anything else to try, post it :)

-after periods of non use, the machine will run fine, and continue to run for a while until stopped. then the error shows itself and is difficult to clear.
-occasionally magenta stuttered streaks on IB and OB edges.
    -new belt and cleaning blade
    -print quality is "OK"
-just noticed 03-3521 along with it.

what I do(but think its just luck and time)
    clean etac
    clean lamp(its clean)
    vac cleaning rollers
    it completes 951.
