This cutter has been in storage for a few years. Hooked up the power and it appears the sequence is off. When both buttons are pushed the blade comes down and stays at the bottom. To get the blade back up the foot pedal has to be used to drop the clamp down. If the clamp is down using the foot pedal, as soon as the buttons are pushed, the blade comes down and the clamp goes up. Weird!
The switches seem to be working (clamp up, blade down, etc.)

Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks.

I would be looking at the upper limit switch sensor, start by cleaning, then try. It not the sensor may not be working or is out of adjustment.

Yeah. That is what I suspected too. However, I found out that they had put in a new hydraulic cylinder before storing it. The hoses were attached backwards. Once we changed them everything works great. Until we ruled out that switch I never would have figured it out.

    Thanks for your input!
