Dear members
This is my first post so please let me express my appreciation for your knowledge and willingness to help on this forum.
I currently run 2004 CD74 CP2000. Since few weeks I have problem with press. It suddenly stops, no matter if on production or idle. It stops and shows that on all fountain rollers illegal movement is detected and rollers are blocked.
After acknowledging and restarting the press it works ok. Sometimes for few hours, sometimes for few days until the same error happens again.
Always after machine is started I have init error (first 2 pictures)
And after machine is suddenly stopped it shows me 3 errors:
A-VIOM
A-ECCB
A-DIPM
These 3 errors always appears after sudden stop of the machine.
Any help will be much appreciated

I have also noticed that this s-can 16 init error is FFFD, but after the machine is suddenly stopped this error is changing to F7FF. The other errors remains the same. How to decode this hexadecimal codes? How to find out what F7FF mean? Am I looking in right place or the problem with machine
stops may be elsewhere?
I found another error in can modules - 7BFF on shaft 2 (see picture) May this be a problem?
What is a A-VIOM? I can't find it in any documentation I have.

I would also like to find out what that A and S letter symbols mean before the error.

I'm really hoping that someone could help me with diagnose this problem. Any input will be much appreciated.

  • This may be motor /brake issues.search threads f7ff you may find examples of this issue

training 2,5,6,7 on the pdcm module has a problem or is non-existent
Hi Adil, thank you for your answer. I don't really understand what do you mean by training 2,5,6,7 and how should I check it?
    Thank you again

Hi Jack and thank you for your answer.
Actually I can't find any helpful threads with F7FF.
I think that the brake is ok as there is only about 0.5 degree movement during the test. Maybe I'm wrong so please let me know.
    Thanks

Hello Tom use the cp 2000 computer look for service menu . Or call Heidelberg phone tech they will explain.

To solve this problem you must have the diagram of the Selin catalog pdcb modules to know what the drive outputs of the organs are on the pdcb module and follow the Selin diagram the organ if it is correctly connected or defective, clean the connections and put back in place

as I told you the drive outputs 2 and 5 and 6 and 7 are organs not connected or defective or connections not properly plugged in

  • Mr Adil could you please explain to me what do you mean by drive outputs 2,5,6,7? And what do you mean by organs?
I don't have pdcp modules diagram, I have only all electrical diagrams provided with the machine and I've traced can 16 wire and it brought me to feeder A51 PDCB to socket X21 - ECCB. Am I looking in right place? If so, what should I do, if not - where should I looking for the problem?
Below is a picture of this morning's errors after machine stopped.
    Thanks again

    Dear members
I still struggle with this problem.
Are the PDSM modules intermittent? I mean can I swap the one from feeder with the one from printing unit or delivery? Then I could narrow my investigation.
Thanks in advance for your answers
