Feeder won't stay timed. Can set timing at feeder head but won't hold, especially at high run speeds. Any better ways to set timing?

Not getting any error codes, so....
New info from the manager. Apparently the previous operator (possibly mgr), damaged the wire running to the encoder and spliced it back together. Possible that could cause the problem?

Possibly....... can you see the motor turning when you increase the machines speed with paper running ?

What the year of manufacturing of the press? What do you mean by it wont hold? A video or some pictures would help, did you set the sheet arrival to zero? Need to see some pictures, machine number would also help.

Sorry for the delay fellas, too busy with production to test things out. Press is '06 CD74 5 color/coated. Set timing by feeder wheels at 1-1.5mm gap when forwarding suckers drop sheet.
