CD74 5 col Automatic wash up

Can anyone advise a solution to fix a problem with the automatic wash up cloth cartridges not locking in on 2 units on this press?

This is not going to be that easy to troubleshoot in a forum. When the handle is turned to either lock or unlock the washer, there are a few things going on at the same time. Without more information other than not locking, the only advice I could give is try swapping washers with another unit, this will at least narrow it down to the washer itself or the locking mechnaism within the unit. Try that and let me know what happens.

Have already tried swapping washers. They don't want to lock in to the mechanism in the unit, they slide into the unit, and then the handle to lock will turn to the locking point but won't lock. The lever in the mechanism will not push down far enough when the washer is put in and we try to lock.
Seems to us that the problem is within the unit ?
