    Dear sir,

I want to understand Why we have to keep 7 mm with vario and 5 mm with out vario?
How it is working? And what is the changes in the various pressure?

Because roller mustn't be driven by plate.

Why do you want running pres with vario off? What's the reason?

    Hi sir
the role of the vario system is to reduce the speed of the dampener to half compared to the speed of the plate cylinder in this way we obtain friction on the plate which can eliminate the fizz
    Good luck

If you check my answers in the forum you will find the role of intermediate roller between ink and dampending system , it important to regulate the balance between ink and water also it avoids unstable emulsion at start-up ,

Yes sir not exactly half but less than a half i mean low speed .
So vario mode is preselected at the control station
When we print with the vario system stopped the dampening device works like a standard dampening device on the other hand if we put the vario system ,the degreaser E drives the dampener toucher 13 at low speed. due to the differential speed between 13 and the plate, a formation of sparkles on the plate is avoided.
    Be welcome

So there is a half of speed or not exactly?:)
I know what is Vario for and how is it working. But you must realise that because you give not true informations, you may cause problems for some young and unexperienced guys.

I'm pretty sure it's closer to 20% slower could even be less it's been awhile, but it also helps with hickey's/ paper dust on the plate the slower speed allows it to potentially drag them off. Also vario off will make speed up your water oppose to in where as the form roller is spinning slower which will add more water to your plate if that makes sense.

Sir, I'm just asking for understanding the working principal of Vario system.

So we can use keep on always with vario mode, right?

And with vario mode dampening form roller and distribution roller pressure should be set 7 mm or can be less than that?

Yes, you can run with vario always on.
    Settings must be 7-8 mm

    Hi sir
in my last post I translated to the letter what I learned from the specialist engineers in Heidelberg, they say that the vario system works with low speed, I said at the beginning half because I am French speaking and I can't figure it out i can't speak very well in English, unfortunately the admins of the forum prohibit other languages which blocked me a lot from sharing information with the language that I master perfectly.
otherwise the speed of the vario is not really required, you just need to know that it runs at a slow speed and what you need to know is the thickness of the contact strip which must be adjusted.
    THANKS

Ok, ok Adil, didn't want to raise your blood pressure:)
In my opinion that's good that we use one language - can you imagine if every one of us speak different language? That would be new tower of Babel :D

Agreed please remember that running various on all the time will shorten the life of your water form rollers.

Vario is for remove hickeys. You can keep it on all the time. But if you really want to play about this then turn it off when you're printing just text or jobs with no pictures/solids

if you work with a dusty surface the vario system will be useful to you, I advise you to work with it all the time it is an option that you must exploit it
