Canon ipf8300 error - 03130031-2f48

Hi!

Any one come across this error on an IPF printer - 03130031-2F48.

It's not in the service manual and occurs whenever I try to print anything.

Mostly is print head problem . After change a new print head then settle . I am canon technician . u can contact us if u at malaysia too .

 

I have a Canon ipf8300 and the CARRIAGE UNIT gets stuck (by the lock mechanism in the PURGR UNIT) at startup. The purge unit makes a hard crank noise and obstructs the gears in the purge unit and errors out. I've replaced and fixed the purge unit and still have issue. When startup in service mode the issue didn't arise untill we conducted a printheads replacement. Have any idea what causes this? Any insight or thought would be greatly appreciated.
