hi,

my friend got a C1+ that keeps banding on half tones when printing solids, anyone having the same trouble? anyone could fix it and how?

thanks

Perhaps you can change your Dither pattern to something more suitable for half tones. I know its possible on the imagepress.
If its grey, make sure the color selected is simply a percentage of Black. Designers low to select a default grey using all CMYK...

Are all colors affected equally? Is a halftone c m y or k consistent, or also banded? Is the banding in the process or cross process direction?

    thanks micheal,

could you please explain to me the steps that i need to take!? so if i want to print something that contains half tone? shall i add some black on the illustrator?

    Hello,

You may want to try a Shading Correction Adjustment and/or a Full Auto Gradation Adjustment. Can you please upload the file that is causing this?

    Thanks,
