Brother HL-2040 Printer Not working properly

Hello friends..
I am using Brother HL-2040 printer from past one year. Earlier it worked very good but at present it not working well. i got one suggestion from my one of my friend he said just re install the printer driver then it works good. but i tried same thing and also i am facing same problem of my printer is when i print the printing it stops automatically some times jam the paper..
