Recently installed 4 new servo motors on komori S29.

3 working fine. However no 2 unit water fountain motor keeps returning driver error which technician's interpret as "overload". I removed the steel fountain roller so just the small cog was left to turn. & it still failed to work. It would spin for 30 seconds or so & stop. No load, no roller. 'Nada'
I'm told it could be endcoder issue. Any similar experiences out there...?

Send the Picture of the motor Kartal....We got this similar issue, we changed the motor and things have been working good ever since....Encoder of these motors are not readily available...

  • Firstly check that the motor is fee to turn by hand . Next check the error on the motor drive under the walk boards you may have a faulty drive board . Next try swapping the plugs and wiring with with the 1st unit if the fault stays with unit 2 then the amplifier unit is faulty.
