Black ghosting

Hi my indigo 7r tends to ghost the image unless I up the black or double hit it. Changing the bid and/or development roller doesn't seem to help. The calibration wizard seems ok.
Any suggestions?

  • I mean correct blankets for the machine u are using? Are there for hpi 7xxx? I only had ghost image when using bad blankets or when having bad conductivity inside ink. Try to reload an old machine configuration.

I believe they are correct blankets, changing the blanket and pip makes no difference. Tomorrow I'm going to flush and rebuild the ink tank with my cal ink.

You should rebuild ink and calibrate optical density and conductivity. Blankets doesn't matter for ghosting even if you will use from 6xxx press.

  • Ok ghosting problems solved.
    Pip no
    Blanket no
    Rebuilt ink with calibration no
    Pressures no
Carbon brushes cleaned (tech support) no
New bid and development roller bingo!
    Thanks for all the support.

You need to know that black ghosting is a known issue for mainly black developer / Bid base. I thought that I wrote it somewhere...
