big trouble today

Problem started out as magenta toning starting to drop out...almost completely with NO ERRORS! would start OK, then after a hundred sheets or so... a full red turned orange and streaked. tech made some changes to settings...all seemed well...then came back with a vengeance. Noticed magenta toner was nearly out, so changed with outside hope that was it.... no luck.

09-3170 when trying to do a 951.

also would not do MOB sensor calib. -gets "outboard" error. 6-3004 i think was that error...

any thoughts? tech is tied up on one of our other machines.

I had hoped to post a pic of the prints...but interweb is vexing me!!!!!!

the 3 dark lines, there are white knockout lines in the magenta. they are intrack lines...

Looks like a wire mod or donor roll problem

Are you using Xerox brand paper? Cause no other brand works correctly in the machine.

Just kidding. Teasing Xerox customer service.

Yeah I'd say check your Magenta Developer housing for irregularities.

opened it up today...was like the developer went on vacation....mag roller was sparse... tech reloaded. so far so good... fingers crossed.

it is NOT xerox brand paper. but I am using a xerox approved media setting LOL

had wrinkle troubles to start the job...got that fixed...but kept going down the "bad paper" road, chasing my tail...decided to call it in when I started getting errors.

hmmm this is back. not sure where to go from here. this time on regular paper. turning red into orange. 951, no change. wont pass trc.
