  • UV setters use cheap plates

If you buy one, you can use cheap Chinese plates.
You will have problems with plates type. Many plate type result in many overlays.
If you will need some spare parts, the cost will start from 8000 Euro.
I use one machine BasysPrint 850 with Diodes for 3 years.
I expose aprox 600 sqm plates per months.
On first year no service require.
On second year I pay 7.000 Euro for service and parts.
Last year I pay 32.000 Euro for service and parts.

    Hi there~
Wonder how much it cost for the replacement lamp then? how long is the average life?
Thanks and hope to hear from you soon.

    lamps

For old CTcP one lamp is 500 Euro and run 400 hours
For new lamps models, one lamp is 2000 Euro and run 3000 hours.
At every start up will lose 5 hours.
New laser models don`t use lamps. One laser cost 25.000 Euro and have waranty of 5 years.
Problems with new models are optics. I must replace one condensor and one objective. Were melted by the laser. After that all geometry must adjusted.
Good part for new laser model is DMD. You can translate DMD if some mirrors are broken. Bad part for laser is optical cable. If one become defective you will pay 20.000 Euro.
