bad waste developer container

    for later reference, heres a new one on me.

    got the pop up, changed it. WOULD NOT CLEAR. spent 2hrs cleaning, replacing filters, rebooting, blowing everything out with air etc.

    place service call, come back today, talk to my tech on the phone... he says "clean sensors, ill stop by later"

    had theory this morning... so I swap a 2nd empty container, AND IT RUNS. to check results, I put assumed faulty bottle back in. INOP. myth confirmed.

    weird.

    something to watch out for. :)

    it is a faulty switch/lever that you press to take the bottle in and out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Had this happen not too long ago myself.
    I just did a power-off/power-on restart, message went away and she ran just fine.

    Been through about ten container changes since.

    power cycle did nada. that was my first thought.

    switch seemingly works fine. I can swap the container in question back, in -repeats error.


    just doesnt like that one bottle.

    next time its full Ill try it again..... :)

    still think it is the switch./lever..happened to me..took months to figure out LOL
