The unit completes the cycle, but the cylinder does not stop at the correct angular position, ending up slightly out of reference (off by a few degrees). In other words, the cycle finishes, but the cylinder is not correctly synchronised for plate change.
This behaviour is consistent only on the 2nd unit. The 1st unit operates normally, with the Autoplate cycle running and stopping correctly.
I have already inspected the unit mechanically and, as far as I can determine, there is no B53-type reference sensor in this configuration on this machine, which leaves me uncertain about what exact reference point is used for Autoplate positioning on this version of the machine.
I would like to understand where to start diagnosing this unit:
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Confirmed so far:
- 1st unit: Autoplate works correctly
- 2nd unit: cylinder stops at incorrect angular position
- CPTronic system shows no active errors
- Issue is isolated to a single unit
- No visible reference sensor (B53 or equivalent) identified
Request for help:
Has anyone experienced a similar issue on this generation of CD 102?I would like to understand where to start diagnosing this unit:
- cylinder position reference in the Autoplate cycle
- possible encoder or alternative reference system on the 2nd unit
- or whether this symptom is more likely related to mechanical backlash in the circumferential register system or a faulty positioning servo
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
