Alternative Inks for Canon Pixma Pro 100

Hello! I am printing with the Pixma Pro 100 and I was curious if anyone has experimented with using inks, other than the Pixma Pro Inks? Are there recommendations for a different high quality ink that would be worth looking into? I do not have any current issues with my ink, I am just curious about how my printer will take them. Thank you!
