So I’m running an ABDick 9810 with a kompak unit. Been fighting the orange peel effect lately. Tried different inks and solutions as well as different strengths in my fountain mix. Pressures and rollers are all good. Trying to figure out my next move. Any thoughts?

I am somewhat. I’ve thinned my ink some which has helped.

What is the ph of the fountain solution it is critical to operation and rollers glazed will cause similar problems.

have you tried adjusting your ink strength so that you could run either a thinner ink film or a thicker ink film as required to match color? Im not referring to your sweep or fountain settings, but rather the pigment load of the ink itself.
