Hello, All.
Can any of you help with loading software on an AB Dick DPM2340 platemaker?
Right now we cannot afford to pay for a Presstek service call nor can we afford a newer platemaker. We are just trying to stay in business.
Our original workstation died and we got a used computer as a replacement.
The replacement computer is running Windows XP. One of the Presstek service techs was kind enough to send a patch to allow XP to run the software. I have installed the patch but I am stumbling around in the dark when it comes to actually loading the platemaker software. I have the disks that came with the original system but am not sure what to execute from these disks. The instructions that the service tech sent are vague as to when to install the dongle and even mentioned 2 computers to be used on the platemaker.
Any help would be much appreciated.
