We cannot get our Ab dick Dpm 34 HSC to print. 20191016_113533.jpg
We can't even get it to print a test plate.
At one point I was able to get a plate to print but the whole thing had a gray background like it was over exposed. We tried changing the exposure. But now we can't get anything to print.

    Hi sir:
    1) Please review the belt motor attenuator, for loose or damage, or dirty
    2) test the voltage at terminal of Motor, see your schematic diagram
    3) test the attenuator clamps/screw.
    4) Test the sensor for attenuator home sensor

We are not sure it is the attenuator. When we send a plate to print you can hear the laser come on but the machine does not continue printing the plate out.
We have to just turn it off and restart everything.
When the fog plate comes out it is full silver except the edges. Like the whole thing has been burned.

According with the number 35 , attenuator failed.

We are pretty sure we found the sensor but that video does not seem to be the same kind of sensor. We believe the little black box is the sensor. Now the metal round washer like part spins in front of the sensor. There is a notch in it which I drew an arrow too. We believe that the notch is where it should stop to find home position. But it will not find home position it just keeps spinning.

    Hi sir:3
The video is sample , how to test any sensor, since any sensor are equal ok?
I did in order to help you to test any sensor.
The squetch that i did attached you with attenuator motor in the middle is the sensor as shown in your photo, look for two wires and that is the sensor.

Update: We replaced the sensor and that did not help. we are still down. Mark Andy believes it may be a software issue.
