AB Dick 360 Vacuum Issue

My press has slowly developed feed issues. Testing the vacuum is is a few inches below the spec on the pump. I have replaced the pump, belt and hoses. The motor is running at the rated 1750 RPM. I am buffaloed as to what could be the issue. I have ran this press for decades and It never had feed issues until now.

Presses and parts age. Check all hoses and lines WELL for splits and cracks. I used to add hose clamps to help secure the hose/fitting connections. Just look everything over close, inspect the sucker feet tubes, swing arm connections etc..... and O rings if they are used. You may find something missed, broken or loose. Is the new vacc pump rebuilt or new? Gast brand I think were. Check the filter cups if plastic and be sure the rubber O washers are between the cup and cup housing. And be sure the fittings/parts reused on the new pump are all tight in place. Many times the rebuilt pumps were marginal at best depending on the source. If the spray powder unit runs off that pump check all that as well. Lines loose or not connected etc.... You'll find something.
