83' Polar 92-EMC, Beeps and jumps out of program

Our old and trusty Polar, has begun to do this. If you input eg. 21.00 cm. it dosen't stop at exactly 21.00 cm it can be 19.95 or 20.01 cm. and when not hitting the decimals correctly it beeps 3 times and jumps out of program :(

We have lived with this annoyance for a couple of years, but it is like it is getting worse. Now it very seldom hit the exactly decimals... Driving us crazy as we have to fine adjust by hand and engage the program again..

Have talked with the local Polar service organization, but was not able to get any help.
They told me that this machine was a very early Polar EMC 1 machine, that they or Polar do not support. and was not able to get any parts or information about.. they told me that there was a fire at the factory and all information on these old machines were lost.. find it a little hard to believe…

Must be someone out there who knows about this, or is able to get us schematics?
