I just installed new gripper pads on both the infeed drum and the impression cylinder.
Now some grippers on the impression cylinder are nicking the sheets or envelopes i'm trying to run.

    What's the problem?

    No,
I'll try it tomorrow using the timing position.
I don't have metric guages, I used .08 SAE under the stopper
and .003 to get a light bite on the grippers.

Theres a process for this, If you only changed the pads, then put all the adjusting screws flush with the gripper base, release all the grippers and then set them to their bases, then insert the .15 guage under the end block, set each gripper pad with a sheet of NCR so you get a light grip when you pull the sheet.
Make sure they all feel the same, Remove the guage and your good, Also check the cam folllowers for wear.
