Thanks for your help, in the meantime I took the inverter cover off and blew it out. Restarted the press and ran for about 4 hours than the code showed up and now will only run about 2-3 minutes before code comes back.

Error code E-5 is an electrical short you need to take a look at all your wires one of them is shorting you out maybe rubbing on something. might take awhile to find it but its gotta be done

I had E-5 happen once when the plug wasn't tight into the wall. Try that and clean the plug contacts. It's a general electrical fault. Could also happen if the voltage is dropping.

    Could be CPU board
Pull out flat cable FC6,(turn power off first, pull cable and then power back on) if error code still E5 then its the CPU, if error code changes to E1 then CPU is ok.
check for wiring damage/shorts too as per ^

An E-5 is usually an error that comes up when there is a direct short to gound on the press. Did someone recently take covers off of the press and put them back on? There is a good chance there is a wire that is pinched. I had a few pressman that have pulled covers off to inspect/oil and when they re-install them they pinch a wire and E-5 comes up.
