2005 SM52 Characteristic Curves Issue

We are working with the curves, speed compensation for the dampening. When we try to get a base line (we are trying to get the plates to run dry and tone up so we know where our starting point is) - on the starting point in the curve menu (6000 spm) we have the revolutions turned down to as slow as possible on the roller, and yet it keeps washing the image out when we try to run at 6000 sph. I've checked rollers and stripes look fine. In theory, shouldn't this be completely dry and toning at this point? Seems like any information we type into the curve is not really getting entered into the program.

 

Do you have any problems when using preset curves?
