I have a cam follower gone on the gripper bar on the final cylinder before transfer unto chain gripper..
Can these be changed without removal of the complete gripper assemble?
    Thank you
    Help appreciated

Look for the hollow in the frame which lines up with the follower.

What do you mean by that?
Is there a way to unhook it off.

The follower lever should be "split", allowing you to loosen the clamping on the stud. You also must take the spring load off by raising lever off cam, this being done by threading a bolt into lever mounted on shaft a few inches in from OS of cylinder, in gripper area. Keep in mind, I am going on a recollection of repairs to similar machines, and I could be totally off in making the call on this model. Good Luck

Heidelberg has special tool which allows you to do it without any problems. It's a clamp which is tightened up on the grippers shaft and then you can lift the follower and change it.

Been in holidays so just getting back to this.
As you can see there is no way of getting the cam follower off as it can only go towards os.
Does complete gripper assemble need to be removed and if so is it the 6mm Allen head screws. What other way?
    Thank you for help.
Anyone even diagram as I have no book on machine.
    Thanks

No, there is a hole in the frame so you can pull the follower out.

    okay
    so take side panel off.
It is the most difficult one to get at.
The last one before going unto chain gripper at delivery

Can get at it okay with washup device out and guard off.
How can I take load off cam follower though as the spot it is removed is when it's loaded.
Is there a screw I can put in or what would you suggest?
    Thanks for help
