1998 Man Roland 705 - 6 Color

We are getting this error, can someone please help on this.

 

Does anybody have a recommendation for a Roland technician here in USA?

I recommend that you see it in:

a) SPS=PLC 4 active LEDs green ; 1) +5vDC 2) -12vDC 3) +12Vdc 4) Input Vac.

b) the voltages will be in tolerance in cases of Vdc must be 0.7 % up or down , example if you measure +5vDC, and the Digital Multimeter measure 5.3Vdc, the power supply is faulty, the machine via PLC, will be various error messages. and goes on.

c) Measure the Vac, input and must be in the range to the input of machine 10% up or down, otherwise you can adjust the main transformer Tap Primary, in order to avoid problem to the PLC, otherwise, you must call to the company for supply electricity. or install stabilizer voltage in his machine.

 

Now this is what I am getting:

Do you know a technician here in USA or someone who can come to USA to help with this?

 

I only know that Manroland reprezentative partner is in Chichago... Try to find them on net. In Mexico you have forum member Sergios, or Sergio. He is licensed technitian for Manroland.

P159 is error parameter
24 is number of error, i dont have error list on phone, mybe someone on forum have it...

 

Firstly, Check all wires that plug in uwr from bkf drive.
Secondly, compare all led signal on press stations. If they have diference you can swap same boards.

Please first test the PLC for power supply , and see Status LEDs.

However here is the

1)Error m; 24 Guard between blanket and impression cylinder or impression cylinder and transfer

2) test for the main motor HA-haupt antriebr ;

24V power supply,

The 24V power supply is broken down or has been interrupted. This releases a emergency stop, if
the input 24V power supply in 3.DIO-02 is low.
Motor protection - Warning
The input on the 2. DIO02 of the central control system is low. The following motor protection
switches that are placed in a row can lead to this message:
Motor protection switch transformer primary rotation voltage
Motor protection switch transformer rotation voltage secondary 90° 24V
Motor protection switch transformer rotation voltage secondary 180° 24V
Motor protection switch heat exchanger
Motor protection switch dry powdering device
Motor protection switch water refrigerator / Ionization (special equipment)
Motor protection - Production off
The input on the 2. DIO02 of the central control system is low. The following motor protection
switches, arranged in a row, can lead to this message:

Motor protection switch printing unit 1 / 400V
Motor protection switch printing unit 2 / 400V
Motor protection switch printing unit 3 / 400V
Motor protection switch printing unit 4 / 400V

 

that error is normally are tyristors of main drive, remove the fuses and measure resistance in the input and output power lines (I repaired the same error a few days ago)

 

error 24: min field current not achived, field current under 50% of minimal field current-controler locked

 

for main drive you have to measure the field power supply voltage from BKF dc drive to motor. as error no 24 " Min. field current out of lower range" it might be the field supply board in d.c drive defective.
for UWR station 3 (A354 General rack) compare the inputs between safety relay board (slot 2) and input boards 3+4 (slot 3 and 4)
