11x17 COLOR LASER - BEST QUALITY IMAGE FOR CAD DRAWINGS AND BROCHURES - IDEAS

We're looking to buy/lease a network printer to print CAD files and brochures/sales presentations. We've seen the Zerox 7760 but were not impressed by print quality. Many home printers offer better print quality at low prices, but we don't want to replace it each year. We don't need lightening speed, 20ppm would be good, but even that is not required. Our goal is #1 Quality, #2 speed.

Our office is only 7 people, the network is not very large and we'll maybe print 10,000 per year.

Can anyone make a recommendation?

 

Wow, are you sure 7760 did not print a good result? Are you sure that printer itself is ok? I sell these for living, 7760 and Okis. Would you like send me a test file so I can print it for you?

 

You can get decent used docucolor 12's now for about a grand.
