xerox 7500

Hi there, was about to buy a Phaser 7500 and the seller proposed me to buy a 7760 instead. Cartridges are cheaper for the 7760, but according to some reviews I read for the 7760, this printer seems not very safe. Am I right to think the 7500 is the best?
