Has anyone had problems running a flood matte varnish in the 5th unit on dull stock? We had a bad contamination problem and don't know if the varnish is too thick? Any ideas??? I'm running a Lithrone 28.

I have to match a preprinted sample. The job is on gloss cover that is varnished and is yellowed from age. I want to try and match this. I was going to just experiment with adding a tad of yellow to the varnish. I guess it is just going to be trial and error. Anyone ever had to do this?

I have a gto here that has some dried varnish on the 4 fixed ink rollers ( the ones you can't remove). I tried regular washup. I tried scrubbing with a deglazer and some pumice powder and nothing. Can any of you suggest a good product to remove this dried varnish?
