gripper ryobi 2800cd

I think I may have posted this in the wrong area...so I will try it here! I've never had to adjust the grippers on my ryobi 2800 CD....I'm in the process of getting a whole new set, however, I'm having a difficult time understanding how to adjust them up and down to the cylinder's edge...
